First of all, Ron Chapple Studios is way more than Ron! With talented people on our in-house teams and throughout our freelance network, the studio consistently produces high-end creative work for the stock photo industry. Our client list includes Disney, Discovery Channel, Mastercard, VISA, Hilton, Microsoft, AT&T, United Airlines and Forbes.
Working on location is our life… 200+ days a year. Managing logistics, travel schedules, desert heat and snow drifts are all in a day’s work.
We’re a dynamic and highly responsive team. While all three of us shoot, Sara is our senior editor and primary digital guru. Ron and Gray wrangle both the image and video worlds. Every image is meticulously color-corrected and retouched to the highest industry standards. Becky, our financial manager, makes sure we maintain our financial integrity. With a never-ending investment in technology and 100% digital workflow, we deliver fresh and highly marketable images.
More about Ron
Previously shooting fashion, advertising and annual reports, Ron dedicated the studio to creating stock content over 15 years ago. He directs both image and video productions with a concise eye for clean compositions.
Ron works out of the Maui studio. Flying 200,000 miles a year, Ron travels the USA, Canada, Europe and Asia working on both stock image and motion projects.
Our Charlotte Studio
Our ultra-modern shooting space and digital studio are in a renovated 50s style retro building in uptown Charlotte. We’re set-up with our own in-house Hensel strobe systems, Arri hot lights, soft boxes and light stands.
