Email address
If you subscribe to updates through the form on this site, I collect your email address to send you occasional newsletters, memoir updates, and announcements. I do not sell, rent, or share this list with third parties.

Contact information you send me. If you email or call me directly using the details on the Connect page, I receive whatever information you choose to share (name, email, message content). I use it only to respond to you.

Automatically collected information. This site is hosted on Wix, which may collect standard technical information (such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited) through cookies and similar technologies, primarily for security, performance, and basic analytics. See Wix's own privacy policy at wix.com/about/privacy for details on what Wix collects as the hosting provider.
 

How I use your information

To send subscribers the updates they signed up for, to respond to inquiries sent through email, phone, or the contact form, and to understand, in aggregate, how visitors use the site. I do not use your information for targeted advertising, and I do not sell personal information.
 

Third-party links

This site links to third-party sites I don't control, including social media platforms, Substack, IMDb, PhotoCON, and the Creative Rage LLC destination sites (molokini.com, haleakala.com), some of which use affiliate links and may have their own privacy practices. This policy doesn't cover those sites — check their own policies.
 

Your rights

You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any email you receive. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal information I hold about you, email ron@ronchapple.com.
 

If you're in the European Union or United Kingdom, you have rights under GDPR to access, correct, delete, or port your data, and to object to or restrict its use — contact me at the email above to exercise any of these. If you're a California resident, I do not sell personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of under the CCPA/CPRA.

This site is not directed at children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect information from children.
